A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Ms. Smerdon has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer for a real estate investment company before joining A.T. LOCKE.

She holds an A.S. in accounting from Greenville Technical College and has particularly deep experience in cash management, budgeting, forecasting, audit support, analysis and accounting management. She has worked in finance and accounting roles in a variety of industries with intense focus on real estate, manufacturing, distribution and logistics. She will work with a variety of A.T. LOCKE clients across the Upstate from the firm’s Greenville headquarters.

A native of Brooklyn, New York who relocated to Greenville during her high school years, Ms. Austin attended Benedict Collegein Columbia, South Carolina before relocating to Greenville and completing an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice at Greenville Technical College. 

In her earlier professional career, Ms. Austin has been a licensed realtor, served as a tactical buyer and account specialist with a major manufacturer, and owned and operated a successful downtown restaurant.  Married with four children, she will work with A.T. LOCKE clients across the Upstate from the firm’s Greenville headquarters.

A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Mr. Moxie is a licensed certified public accountant and has nearly a decade of experience in public accounting with a major regional CPA and consulting firm.  He earned both a B.A. in Business Administration and his Master of Accountancy from The Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. 

His experience centers on companies with multi-state and international operations in the manufacturing and distribution, services, technology and construction sectors. He has expertise dealing with complex accounting and tax reporting and planning matters in such areas as mergers and acquisitions, economic incentives, consolidated group reporting, accounting for income taxes and state and local taxation.

Mr. Moxie is an active member of the South Carolina Association of CPAs and is involved with the City of Simpsonville Planning Commission, United Way and PULSE.  He will serve a variety of A.T. LOCKE clients across the Upstate from the firm’s Greenville headquarters.

A native of Greenville, Ms. Brown has nearly a decade of finance and accounting experience with both regional and community banks in the Upstate region.  She earned a B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University, and is currently enrolled in Furman University’s pre-CPA program.

Ms. Brown is involved with Hands on Greenville, and holds specialized training in financial statement review, loan documentation and administration, and credit analysis.  She will serve a variety of A.T. LOCKE clients across the Upstate from the firm’s Greenville headquarters.

This summer, we were proud to be a sponsor of Fun Fest 2011, a fun-filled evening at Flour Field to celebrate all of our children. The cool evening was perfect for jump castles, ice cream and an opportunity to learn more about the many partners and agencies who make CDS a wonderful resource for families who are seeking developmental evaluation, treatment education and support for their children.

The Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce welcomed a record number of new members in 2011, particularly through its membership campaign held in September. Anna and Team GOLD brought in 31 members and $12,050 for the Greer Chamber during a 2-day campaign!

In October, A.T. LOCKE was a proud sponsor of the 2010 Walk for the Homeless. Anna Locke and her employees came out with their families to help raise awareness of Greenville’s homeless citizens. The walk is not just a fund raiser – it is an educational tour. The 4-mile walk takes you on a path to the human service agencies in Greenville which work year round to provide assistance.
